Bates is a former member of the Tennessee House of Representatives where he chaired the Committee on Banking and Commerce. He sees much of what is happening, now, as a part of biblical prophecy. Although I am not one who spends much time in this theological pursuit, he really has some interesting and even important things to share.
If you are not a dispensationalist (the Rapture and all that), you will find some what what Larry has to say a little hard to accept. Still, worth the read
